What is your business about, what are you trying to achieve?
SoulCircle (PTY) Ltd www.soulcircle.co.za is a pioneering company that improves human and business performance through knowledge, wisdom and experience. A catalyst for mindshift, SoulCircle engages business and society on archetypal issues through transformative experiences hosted by some of the world's best thinkers. We are trying to establish a community of learning, and to take challenging new paradigms into business to evolve consciousness.


What are your plans for the future of your business?
SoulCircle will be opening a speaker bureau called SOS (Speakers of Substance) in June, we will be bringing international mystical author and stand up philosopher, Tim Freke to South Africa in September, and we have joined forces with Axius Publishing to create innovationTOWN which will change the way South Africans think about innovation in October.


What is your background?
SoulCircle was founded by Mandy de Waal, who has twenty years experience in branding and reputation management with blue chips like ABSA, Acceleration, Consology, Gold Reef City, Heinz, Microsoft, Mosaic, Nashua Mobile, Nestle, Shoprite Checkers and The South African Post Office. Her awards include the Text 100 Chairman's Award, Planet Text Award and the Financial Mail PRISM award. During her communications career de Waal:

• Pioneered South Africa's first 'Media Image Survey', a reputation tool and comprehensive study of how JSE-listed companies are perceived by the media.
  
  
• Founded leading brand and reputations consultancy Idea Engineers, taking it from a start-up to a multi-million rand business that counsels South Africa's top brands.
  
  
• Led the local chapter of the UK listed technology specialist PR firm, Text 100.
