Author: Fiona Horne![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is one of those books that found me. I know we've all been there - I was at an all time low, I had lost all sense of who I was and decided to try and console myself with some retail therapy in one of our many soulless malls. The trip was unsuccessful; I managed to purchase absolutely nothing, no shoes, no necklace, no dress, not even a pair of socks. In a final attempt to spend some money I went into a book shop and came across this little book, bought it, took it home and immediately read it from cover to cover. The result - I felt incredibly uplifted.Seven days to a magickal new you guides you day-by-day on a week-long journey of magickal transformation. So, I took a week for myself, organised leave from work, turned off my phone, and started my journey. On day two I still had my doubts about what I was doing, on day three I was feeling a little more comfortable, but by day four I knew I was on the right track. I had never before explored wicca, but this book has definitely peaked my interest. With each day ruled by a different planet, this little book is packed with fun and practical suggestions, from making a dream pillow to decorating your own altar. It includes daily rituals, how to make elixirs and other potions, and more. I don't know if this has anything to do with my magickal transformation but two months later I met my husband. I recommend this book to anyone who has lost their way. |

This is the powerful story of the author's struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and how a healer's unusual prescription of mindful altruism - to 'give away 29 gifts in 29 days' - ignited her energy, her happiness, and invited more abundance into her life.
