Author: Pablo Neruda![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you're stuck for inspiration this Valentines Day then I'd highly recommend discovering the gentle, sensuous words of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. This collection has been revered throughout the world and remains to this day a best seller. If you've seen Michael Radford's 1994 film "Il Postino", which is based around the poetry of the famous Chilean, then Neruda may have already woven his magic on you. If not then you're in for a real treat. The poems are full of grace, wit, earthiness and of course love and desire. This collection, written when Neruda was just 19, was originally published in 1924 with the title "Veinte poemas de amor y una cancion desperado" and is probably his best known work. It has sold millions of copies in countless different languages throughout the world. The poems in this edition are vividly brought to life by the lush illustrations of Jan Thompson Dicks who has captured the sensuality and grace of the words. |

This is the powerful story of the author's struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and how a healer's unusual prescription of mindful altruism - to 'give away 29 gifts in 29 days' - ignited her energy, her happiness, and invited more abundance into her life.
