Artists: Various![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Café del Mar label is one of the classic series in the chillout music genre. To date they have released over thirty CD's, selling a total of over 9 million, any new release is virtually guaranteed a spot on the bestsellers list. This latest release, Volume 12, doesn't disappoint. One of the secrets of the Café del Mar success is the subtle blend of eclectic world music with slow sunset dance beats. All is laid back, all is relaxed and as such the heart is encouraged to gently pump in tune with the natural rhythms of life. In this double disc collection of twenty-eight tracks one is taken on a gentle ride around the Mediterranean shores and beyond. The opening track, 'Sácame de Aquí', conjures up images of a Saharan oasis whilst my particular favourite, 'Bailando Va', transports one to the Brazilian beaches where tanned beauties gracefully and seductively stroll along the seashore, almost it feels, in slow motion. As with any compilation there are unfortunately a few moments when I feel it loses its way and the spell of tranquillity is broken, it's a real shame. Despite this though I can, whilst listening to this collection, still satisfy my yearning to be sitting on a quiet beach watching the surf drift gently in and out. Press play, sit back, don sunglasses, set a smile upon my face and take a long sip from a suitably umbrella'd sundowner, my troubles are soon forgotten. |

This is the powerful story of the author's struggle with Multiple Sclerosis and how a healer's unusual prescription of mindful altruism - to 'give away 29 gifts in 29 days' - ignited her energy, her happiness, and invited more abundance into her life.
