Human beings have about 60 thousand thoughts per day. 95% of those thoughts we had the day before, and the day before, and the day before… One definition of insanity is: Trying to get a different result by doing the same thing over and over. Are you living life, or is it living you? Do you always respond to people and situations the way you would like to? Are you always in a totally resourceful state? You can be! The meaning of life is the meaning you give it and the quality of your life depends on the state you’re in right now. Therefore the secret to joy, freedom and happiness is being able to access your desired state any time. Your present state dictates the meaning you give your current experiences and the value you give yourself and others. Right now your perception is shaping your existence and forming your model of the world. In truth, no matter what you think you are, you are always much more than that. People have all the ability they need to succeed. There are no un-resourceful people; there are only un-resourceful states. So, the key to attracting the experience you want is to access the appropriate state that manifests your desires. The quickest way to change your state is to change your physiology. Have you noticed how a depressed person holds their body? To switch from depression to happiness; lift your head, look slightly upwards, relax your shoulders, take a deep breath into your tummy and let it out slowly while imagining yourself smiling and thinking a positive thought. Feels good, doesn’t it : ) Do you want to improve any part of your life? Become a Pattern Detective! Notice how you’re successfully achieving results that cause you dis-ease. Ask yourself: “What are my beliefs about this scenario”. Identify any limiting beliefs you have about yourself with regards to this situation. What state do you find yourself in? Now change your physiology, breathing and thoughts to how you want to be. See, hear and feel yourself associated into your most resourceful state in this context. Do this every time you experience the negative state, until you re-program your nervous system with a new way of being. Some say: “Fake it until you make it”. But I say: “Change is the only constant in life, and you have the response-ability to change your perceptions, by changing your state to access your abundant resources each and every moment of your life”.
