About Thai Foot Massage:

Thai Foot Massage is an ancient and powerful therapy, whcih has been used for over 3000 years. This massage works on the energy channels on the soles of the feet and lower legs; stimulating smooth energy flow and improved circulation as well as encournaging balance and relaxation. Thai Foot Massage is done with the client lying on a floor mat, with the stimulation of the energy channels in the feet and some vitality foot and ankle stretches to encourage flexibility. Thai Foot Massage differs from other foot forms of foot massage in that it focuses a great deal on stimulating healthy energy flow in the body and also uses a specifially shaped stick to stimulate reflex points. The massage is designed to balance the body and energy systems and is effective in releiving pain and many helath problems. It is used all over Thailand as a tool for maintaining good health and well-being.

About the Training:

A simple and effective routine is taught over the two day course, wich equips the student to perform a one-hour Tahi Foot Massage. The movements and techniques that are taught are designed to balance the whole system and can also be included in the full body massage.

Cost R1400 including a detailed Institute of Thai Massage (ITM) Manual, Massage stick and foot cream. A certificate of compliance is issued after satisfactory completion of the required case studies.
