Advertorials provide you with the opportunity to publicise a particular event, product or concept, in your own words, and exactly as you would like it to be covered, on the Harmonious Living website. Because you have purchased the advertorial space, you can chose how you would like the story to be told. We have a team of journalists available to tailor the content to your specific needs, or you can provide the copy yourself.
The advertorial will appear in a standard layout that incorporates a heading, an introduction, a story of not more than 600 words, a company logo, contact details and up to 3 images. The page will be labelled as “advertorial”.
Advertorials will be featured in the;
- Home Page - relevant section for 1 week (article title, summary, summary image)
- Home Page - relevant section for at least 1 subsequent week (article title only)
- 1 issue of the Weekly Newsletter (article title, summary, summary image)
- Archived in relevant section of the website indefinitely
Points to consider:
- Although the Internet doesn’t come with space limitations, we recommend writing an article no longer than 600 words – any longer, and Web readers tend to lose interest. Break the story up with sub-headings for maximum impact.
- Advertorial content is most effective if it contains general information that is relevant to your product, company or service rather than starting the story with a product punt from the start. If people are investing their time in reading your story, make it worth their while by providing information of interest so that your product is contextualised in a positive light.
- You are welcome to punt your own product, but please refrain from denouncing competitors by name.
- Please ensure that you have the necessary permission to use any images that you provide to us.
- We will check all facts represented in the advertorial, and will ask to see the origins of any quoted third-party research.
